Active Sky Evolution

Postby Mark Richards » February 27 2010

HI Thomas

I've not tested it yet, but just downloading Active Sky Evolution from Hifi Simulations.

Active Sky Evolution is the next installment in the Active Sky series, bringing further refinement and accuracy in weather synthesis and depiction, improved smoothing, increased high-fidelity aircraft compatibility, a new graphical look and many other behind-the-scenes improvements to further increase your desktop flight and weather simulation experience!

Hopefully it will work with FSFK so will let you know.

Just tested it and it works fine set up in FSFK as Active Sky Advanced but pointing to the ASE user directory. (...\AppData\Roaming\HiFi\ASE)

Hi,

i pointed also FSFK 30 to the new ASE Folder but the FSFK report shows "n/a" for all stations. The ACARS Device has weather datas, i'm not sure if this is up to date.

EDIT: The Acars Reports are current but TAF is n/a

Same issue here...
And I can not get Destination metar on Acars either. But nothing in FSFK itself on WideFS to ASE on ANOTHER WideFS box...

In the ASE folder you have configured in FSFK there should be a file named "ASE.cfg". Simply create a COPY and rename it to "ASA.cfg" and FSFK should work again.
