AITM COnfusion

Postby TheMajor » February 22 2005

The post below states to make sure the following is in my registry...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\8.0\EXE Path

I actually have this...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\8.0\

SHould I just move FS to drive C??? Would that solve the problem?

Also, decompiling and compiling isn't working, and I dont have a subfolder named TTOOLS in the AITM folder - I downloaded it from flightsim.com - should I redownload?

"EXE Path" is a string value and not a key.  So you will find it on the right side of the registry editor. If you don't have it, you will need to create it and enter you path to the main FS folder. Then it should work.

You need to download the latest TTools version from AVSIM.com and unpack the archive to the subfolder "TTools" in the main AITM folder.

Hope this helps

There is a direct download link on the bottom of the page. Right click on this link and select "Save as". This should work.

The filename is the correct one.

Postby TheMajor » February 26 2005

According to the file referenced above in the d/l link, it is AFCAD, and it is asking for FS2004's location. I only have FS2002
