FS MAP 1.2.1

Postby sandypilot » July 26 2010

Yesterday I downloaded and install the latest version. Using FSMAP with either the stock Cessna or Stock Baron the module loads but when I select the map button my system crashes to the desktop.

I have tried this several times with the same result.

Thanks to all who reply

Bill

Are you talking about the FSMap gauge?

YES, I select it from the "Views" drop down menu and then select Instrument panel, FSMAP or from a switch I have programmed.

Which version did you have previously installed and which graphic mode (D2D, GDI+,...) have you currently configured?

My previous version was 1.0.2. With that version I had problems with both the Baron 58 and the Beachcraft King Air 350. They would not display the FSMAP guage even though the gauge was installed in each aircraft. I stopped using FS for a few months and when I went back to it I started to see this problem. Prior to that it was working fine. AS best I can remember. The only updates I can recall are those for VISTA.

I use TripleHead2Go which I have had for a long time with no problems. I fly in Virtual Cockpit mode.

I hope I have answered your questions. If not let me know.

Thank You.

You haven't answered the last question: Which graphic mode (D2D, GDI+,...) have you currently configured (menu options->graphic mode)?

Thomas,

I changed to GDI+ and that took care of the problem. I don't know how that could have gotten changed since it worked before.

It must have been GRUMLENS>

Thank You.

D2D can cause problems with some video cards. Which video card do you have installed on your system?

Thomas,

My video card is an ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB.

BTW I just updated to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and FSMAP looks ok.

Thanks.
